How much does Invisalign cost in London?
Clear aligners are one of the most popular ways to straighten teeth as an adult, and one of the hardest treatments to compare on price. Some clinics quote for one arch, some for both, and some leave retainers or check-ups out of the headline figure. This guide explains what you’re paying for, so you can compare like with like.
The short answer
At our practice in Bow, East London:
- Invisalign™ GO is £3,996.
- 32Co™ clear aligners are £2,274 to £4,999, depending on how complex your case is.
- A clear aligner consultation is £70, and it comes off the cost of treatment if you go ahead.
You’ll always get a written, personalised quote before anything starts. Every fee is published in our fee guide.
What changes the price?
How far your teeth need to move. This is the biggest factor. Mild crowding or a small gap needs fewer aligners and less time than teeth that are rotated or overlapping. Treatment usually takes between 3 and 18 months.
Which system suits your teeth. Invisalign GO is designed for mild misalignment and small gaps. 32Co aligners treat mild to moderately complex cases, and the price rises with the number of aligners you need. Very complex cases may need a specialist orthodontist, and we’ll refer you if so.
What needs doing first. Aligners move teeth through the gums and bone, so both need to be healthy before you start. If you need a filling or a hygiene visit first, that’s priced separately.
Retainers. Teeth try to drift back after treatment, so retainers are what keep your result. At our practice Vivera™ retainers are £659, an Essix retainer is £183 per arch, and a bonded (fixed) retainer is £431 per arch.

The two systems work in the same way and give very similar results. The differences are the brand, the price and the kind of case each one suits. Our guide to Invisalign vs other clear aligner systems goes into more detail.
Why prices vary so much across London
Two quotes that look different may not be quoting the same thing. When you compare, ask:
- Does the price cover both arches, or just one?
- Are the consultation, scans and progress check-ups included?
- Are retainers included, and which type?
- What happens if your teeth need a few extra aligners at the end to finish the result?
- Who will plan and check your treatment? Every dentist in the UK is on the GDC register, and you can check their number. Ours are listed on our team page.
Be careful with very low prices that come without an examination. Teeth and gums should be checked in person before anything is moved, because straightening teeth while gum disease or decay is active can make both worse.
Cost over time
The aligners are only part of the cost. Retainers are worn for as long as you want to keep the result, and replacing them every few years is normal. While you’re straightening, aligners cover your teeth for most of the day, so plaque builds up more easily along the gum line. We recommend a hygienist visit every three months during treatment.
Once your teeth are straight, many people choose to finish with teeth whitening (Boutique™ whitening is £341) or composite bonding to smooth small chips or uneven edges. Planning these at the start means everything is done in the right order.
Can you spread the cost?
Yes. Finance through Tabeo is available on treatments over £1,000, with terms from 12 to 60 months, so £2,274 of clear aligner treatment spread over 60 months costs £50.29 per month.* On shorter terms, 0% finance is available, so you can spread the cost with no interest at all. Ask us for a personalised illustration at your consultation.
*Representative example: borrowing £2,274 over 60 months at 12.9% APR representative (fixed) means a first payment of £50.40 followed by 59 monthly payments of £50.29, a total cost of credit of £743.51 and a total amount payable of £3,017.51. Finance is subject to status; we act as a credit broker, not a lender.
Getting an exact price
The only way to get an accurate price is to have your teeth looked at. Book a clear aligner consultation (£70, taken off your treatment if you go ahead) and your dentist will check your teeth and gums, tell you which system suits you and give you a written quote. If you already know you’d like Invisalign, mention it when you book so we can match you with the right dentist. You can read more about the treatment on our teeth straightening page.
