Wrinkle relaxing treatment
A simple treatment that can dramatically soften facial expression lines, frown lines and crow’s feet — without surgery, scars or recovery time.
When we frown, smile or laugh, we contract the face into folds of skin that form dynamic wrinkles such as crow’s feet, forehead lines or worry lines. Over time these become deeper and more permanent.
What is involved? Tiny amounts of wrinkle relaxant are placed into the muscles that cause the skin to crease and furrow. Most clients find there is only mild and temporary discomfort, and the procedure takes just a few minutes — you can be back at your desk straight after lunch.
How does it work? The treatment relaxes the muscle, putting it into a kind of hibernation for around three to four months, which leaves the overlying skin looking smoother and less wrinkled — a more relaxed, more youthful appearance. It softens lines around the forehead, eyes, lips, chin and neck, and combined with dermal fillers or tooth whitening for an all-over touch-up, the results can be more striking still.
Dermal fillers — frame your smile
When we are younger, the hyaluronic acid in our skin helps prevent wrinkles by providing elasticity and hydration. As we get older our bodies break that hyaluronic acid down, and the skin loses its vitality and elasticity. This is when folds, furrows and expression lines start to appear.
The more mobile areas of the face are affected first. Over time the skin begins to sag and “expressive” wrinkles set in, which become harder to smooth out.
Injectable hyaluronic acid dermal fillers restore, re-volumise and rejuvenate those facial lines, safely giving the face a refreshed appearance. They can also be used to enhance the natural shape of your lips — framing the smile rather than changing the face.
