Shane McLarnon - dentist
BDS University of Liverpool 2015, GDC (257690)
Shane graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 gained an MFDS diploma at the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow in 2017.
He spent a number of years working in general practice before moving to Australia for a year to continue to practice whilst enjoying the ability to enjoy both surf and sun all year round.
Shane particularly enjoys minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry taking pride in restoring teeth to looking their best! He also offers Invisalign GO treatment – the clear alternative to metal braces – which is becoming increasingly popular among our adult patients
Outside of dentistry Shane loves to travel and explore having visited New Zealand, Japan and Singapore this year alone. He enjoys keeping fit and active and likes to pretend he goes to the gym three times a week.
Sejal Chauhan - dentist

Sejal graduated in 2018 from Cardiff Univerity and has been working in general practice in London since. Sejal has a friendly and gentle approach and enjoys making your visit to the dentist as pleasant as possible! Sejal is trained to provide facial aesthetics (both fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments) and likes to keep up to date by attending dental courses.
In her spare time she likes to attend dance classes and loves baking to unwind. She also enjoys travelling, exploring different cultures and more importantly their cuisines!
Amit Patel - dentist
BDS Lond 2010, GDC (193397)
Amit graduated from Kings Dental School London in 2010, and has amassed a wealth of experience in general dental practice and a hospital position before taking up a fulltime position with us at William Place. Amit enjoys general family dentistry and is renowned for his gentle and holistic approach, which puts adults and children at ease very quickly. He is passionate about working with our hygienist team to help patients maintain good oral health on an ongoing basis, and he is going to provide Vocational Training for a newly qualified dentist at our practice from 2018.
Outside of dentistry Amit is passionate about travel and football. When he is not globetrotting to explore new destinations and cultures, he can routinely be found at the Olympic Stadium supporting West Ham United.
Zahid Shaikh - dentist
BDS University of Dundee 2016, GDC (264108)
Zahid graduated in 2016 from University of Dundee with BDS (Honours). He is also a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He is enthusiastic about all disciplines in dentistry and thoroughly enjoy the problem solving that comes with working in General Dental Practice.
He is trained to provide Invisalign, facial aesthetics treatments and has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry and root canal therapy.
He has a kind, empathetic demeanour and thoroughly enjoys helping his many anxious patients overcome their dental fears.
He has an interest in dental research and keeps up to date with the latest knowledge with regular CPD and dental courses to maintain his skills.
Hollie Harris - dentist

Hollie first obtained a Psychology degree (City University, Bsc) in 2011 and then went on to study dentistry at Kings College (BDS, 2016). She has worked mainly in general practice since then as well as proving emergency dental care in an out of hours setting and in Guys hospital. She finds it rewarding to treat anxious patients and change their perception of coming to the dentist. She regularly attends CPD courses to keep her knowledge up to date and provide the best treatment for her patients. Hollie is also trained to provide anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers and also offers InvisalignGo (clear braces).
Hollie enjoys travelling and keeping active in her spare time by running, going to the gym and walking the family bulldogs.
Rosie Sutton - dentist

Rosie graduated from King’s College London in 2017 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). Prior to this she gained a First Class Honours degree in Biomedical Sciences (BSc) from the University of the West of England, with a particular focus on nutrition. She has also gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Primary Dental Care since qualifying, for which she received a distinction.
Rosie aims to treat her patients holistically and make them feel comfortable. Since graduating, Rosie has found her passion in Facial Aesthetics and went on to undertake advanced training in the field. By creating small refinements using a combination of dermal filler, anti-wrinkle treatments, as well as skin rejuvenation, Rosie aspires to lift her patients’ self-confidence in a safe and predictable way. Her passion is to conform to the most natural results, highlighting your own natural beauty
Sagar Jadeja - dentist
BDS Glasgow 2017, PhD researcher at KCL Guy's Hospital, GDC (270540)
Sagar qualified from University of Glasgow Dental School in 2017, by 2018 he was submitting complex treatment plans to journals such as British Endodontic Society. Since then he's been invited to undertake a PhD at Kings College London where he works on preventative research into toothwear working alongside both clinical and industry experts in dentistry .
Sagar has taken further study into facial aesthetic treatments including wrinkle relaxation and dermal fillers as well as Invisalign GO treatment. He takes great pride if full face smile makeovers with the goal that all of his patients can leave feeling more confident. Sagar is know for having a calm and patient centred approach.
Lena Vakil - director & oral surgery specialist
FDS RCS Eng 1994, BDS Wales 1991, GDC (66110)
Lena qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1991.
She commenced hospital based Oral and Maxillofacial training and obtained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1993. She entered the GDC Specialist Register in Oral Surgery in 2004.
Lena has worked in many hospital settings carrying out all procedures in Oral Surgery. She also ran an Oral Surgery Unit in Sydney, Australia and was formerly a lecturer at St Bartholomew’s, Royal London Hospital and at Whipps Cross University Hospital where she clinically supervised postgraduates. Lena has also been involved with teaching via an e-learning platform and completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education in 2017. She has also been involved with Postgraduate dental training as a Dental Foundation Trainer.
In 1996, Lena established an Oral Surgery referral service in Docklands with Tower Hamlets PCT. Her referral base covers approximately 30 practices.
She currently provides a Minor Oral surgery service in Hertfordshire for dental practices.
She is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons and is currently completing a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons (Eng).
Manpreet Dhesi - root therapy

Manpreet qualified as a dentist from Manchester in 2011 and went on to gain the MJDF Diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2012. During his time in general dental practice he enjoyed all elements of general and aesthetic dentistry, and discovered a special interest in the field of endodontics. Manpreet embarked on a 3 year Masters programme at Queen Mary University which he completed in the summer of 2017 .
Endodontics is the area of dentistry concerned saving natural teeth which have suffered extensive damage or disease and require root treatments. Some teeth have straight roots and can be treated by general dentists, others require additional expertise because they are curved or have been treated before, so they are referred to me by my colleagues and we work closely to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to achieve the best result for our patients.
Manpreet provides endodontic treatment at William Place Practice on Wednesdays and he places great importance on patient comfort during root canal treatment, using modern, state of the art equipment and techniques to provide high quality treatment. He keep abreast of the latest developments by attending national conferences, and is a member of the British Endodontic Society and European Society of Endodontology.
In his spare time Manpreet is a keen footballer, and he enjoys fitness and weight training workouts, which provides the perfect balance for his passion for cooking and enjoying good food.
Tawny Fontana - hygienist
Tawny has been a dental hygienist for over 7 years and graduated with honors in her class from the University of the Fraser Valley from Vancouver, B.C. Her dream of living in Europe became a reality in September when she decided to take the big leap to work and live overseas on her own. She puts communication, patient care and quality treatment at the forefront when working with her patients and values her patient relationships. Don’t hesitate to tell her a little about yourself as she loves getting to know who her patient are. Tawny also comes to us as an Actress from Vancouver and is passionate about film, music and travel.
Arusa Malik - hygienist

Arusa graduated from Kings College Hospital in 2018. This qualification allows her to not only provide care for those with periodontal (gum) disease, but also to manage and treat decay in children and adults.
She is keen on personalising patient care and managing their expectations to achieve optimum oral hygiene and treatment results by teaching patients how to look after their gums, as well as improve general oral health.
Arusa places thorough communication at the forefront of her clinical practice and is renown for her gentle and empathetic demeanour to ensure her patients always feel at ease and continue to maintain a good dental foundation by visiting her regularly.
